Accounts Payable Clerk Permanent Part-time
The City of Avon is seeking a permanent part-time Accounts Payable Clerk to work in the Finance Department at City Hall. Approximately 24 to 28 hours per week. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, entering, maintaining and paying vendor invoices; managing the purchase order process, operate and maintain the postage meter; manage the incoming and outbound mail, perform other related duties as required. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience (2 years or more), preferably with an Associate Degree in Accounting or Business, or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience which provides the desired knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word, is required.
